Our team

One of the most important resources at Magill CCCC is our caring, experienced and passionate team of educators and staff. We are committed to professional and personal staff development as we believe it is fundamental to providing a high quality service.

Our policies and practice reflect a commitment to the safety and protection of children and to providing a child-safe environment. All educators and support staff undergo a Child Related Screening every 3 years.

Many of our educators and staff have been at the Centre for more than 10 years.

The Director Amy May holds a Diploma in Children Services. Amy has many years’ experience in the sector working with children and their families ensuring quality care is implemented and has a passion for education in the Early Years. Amy has years’ experience at management level leading positive, united  teams to achieve common goals.

The Assistant Director, Abbey has a wealth of experience, she has worked at Magill since 2002. During that time she has been a room coordinator and  Acting Director. Abbey has her Diploma of Children’s Services.

Tracy is the centres Educational Leader and is also the Baby Toddler Room Coordinator.  Tracy has her Diploma of Children’s Services and brings a wealth of knowledge and experience to the role.

Baby Toddler Room

Tracy – Room Coordinator holds a Diploma of Children’s Services and works in the room four days a week

Andrea – has her Diploma in Children’s Services, she works three days per week.

Karen – holds a Diploma in children’s Services and works five days a week.

Jo N. – holds a Diploma of Children’s Services and works a 7 day fortnight

Anne – holds an Advanced Diploma of Children’s Services she works three days a week

Soo – has a Diploma in Children’s Services and work three days a week

Ivy – has her Certificate III and works five days a fortnight

Marie – has her Certificate III and works three days a week, across the centre

Kim – has her Certificate III and works three days a week

Bin Li – has her Certificate III and works four days a week across the centre

Pre Kindy

Kelly – Room Co-Coordinator has a Diploma in Children’s Services. She works Five days a week

Ayomi – has a Diploma of Children’s Services and works four days a week

Jo R. – has a Diploma in Children’s Services and works four days a week

Catherine N. – holds a Degree in Early Childhood education and works four days a week

Adelina -holds a Diploma of Children’s Services, Bachelor of Education Up/Ls and Bachelor of Science and works two days a week

Angie – has her Certificate III and works a nine day fortnight

Margaret – has her Certificate III and works four days a week

Bin Li- has her Certificate III, and works four days a week across the centre

Marie – has her Certificate III, and works three days a week across the centre

Qia – has a Certificate III, and works four days a week across the centre

Kindy

Azima – Room Co-coordinator holds a Diploma of Children’s Services and works four days a week

Sarah – Lead Teacher has a degree in Early Childhood Education, she works three days a week

Oscar – has a Degree in Early Childhood Education and works full-time

Jo Z. – has a degree in Early Childhood Education, she works four days a week

Qia – has his Certificate III and works four days a week, across the centre

Kitchen

Kevin is our very experienced cook has his Certificate III in Hospitality (commercial cookery) he works full time.

Relief Educators

The Centre also has pool of relief educators and staff: Amanda, Carrie, Cassandra, Elena, Finna, Jacqui, Portia and Sally

Comprehensive orientation procedures for all new staff, including relief staff, ensure consistent practice and continuity for children and families.
