Our team

One of the most important resources at Magill CCCC is our caring, experienced and passionate team of educators and staff. We are committed to professional and personal staff development as we believe it is fundamental to providing a high quality service.

Our policies and practice reflect a commitment to the safety and protection of children and to providing a child-safe environment. All educators and support staff undergo a Child Related Screening every 3 years.

Many of our educators and staff have been at the Centre for more than 10 years.

Abbey Pyers, our Director, holds a Diploma in Children’s Services and brings many years of experience in the early childhood sector. She is passionate about working in partnership with children and families to ensure high-quality care and education in the Early Years. Abbey also has extensive management experience, successfully leading positive, united teams to achieve shared goals and create supportive, collaborative environments for both educators and families.

Our Assistant Director and Educational Leader, Tracy, brings a wealth of experience to her role, having worked at Magill since 2002. Holding a Diploma of Children’s Services, Tracy offers extensive knowledge and expertise, supporting high-quality practices and guiding educators to deliver meaningful learning experiences for children.

Gumnut Room

Jo N. – Room Coordinator holds a Diploma of Children’s Services and works in the room four days a week

Andrea – has her Diploma in Children’s Services, she works three days per week.

Karen – holds a Diploma in Children’s Services and works 8 days a fortnight.

Anne – holds an Advanced Diploma of Children’s Services she works three days per week

Kim – has her Certificate III and works four days a week

Jacqui – is currently studying her Bachelor of Early Childhood Education, she works four days per week

Bin Li – has her Certificate III and works four days a week

Jo R – holds a Diploma of Children’s Services and works across the centre

Imogen – is a trainee and and works four days across the centre

Blossom Room

Nikita – Room Co-Coordinator has a Diploma in Children’s Services. She works five days a week

Catherine M. – Room Co-Ordinator has her Diploma in Children’s Services and works 3 days per week

Cherry – has a Degree in Early Childhood Education and works four days a week

Catherine N – has a degree in Early Childhood Education and works four days across the Blossom and Wattle rooms

Jo R. – holds a Diploma in Childrens Services and works accross the centre

Angie – has her Certificate III and works a eight day fortnight

Qia – has his Certificate III and works four days a week

Skye – has her Certificate III and works 4 days per week

Imogen – is a trainee and and works four days across the centre

Wattle Room

Azima – Room Co-coordinator holds a Diploma of Children’s Services and works four days a week

Jo Z. – has a Degree in Early Childhood Education and works four days a week

Janice – has  a Degree in Early Childhood Education and works four days per week

Catherine N. – holds a Degree in Early Childhood education and works four days a week across the Blossom and Wattle Rooms

Adelina -holds a Diploma of Children’s Services, Bachelor of Education Up/Ls and Bachelor of Science and works two days a week

Imogen – is a trainee and and works four days across the centre

Kitchen

Kevin is our very experienced cook has his Certificate III in Hospitality (commercial cookery) he works full time.

Relief Educators

The Centre also has a pool of relief educators and staff: Portia, Elena, Momoko, Suky, Kelly, Sarah and Ruby.

Comprehensive orientation procedures for all new staff, including relief staff, ensure consistent practice and continuity for children and families.
